imagine if you were going to need oxygen for an hour at some pre known point 5 years away and then live for the rest of your life fine how much would you pay for that oxygen you knew you were going to need if you had to pay you basicly would pay all of your life savings up untill that time to get the rest of your life free because what good will all that money do you in the grave. and if you knew you were not going to make enough in the next 5 years you would be prepared to work harder and smarter to get to the point where you had enough to continue free. obviously there is a physical limit but basicly what is actually free for you you would pay several years worth of labour for! even if it only expended in one hour of use.
